This policy covers three things: this website, the game Devious Demigods, and the optional Patreon unlock service. The short version: we collect as close to nothing as we can get away with, and we store nothing about you on our servers.

This website

• The site is static. It has no accounts, no forms, no analytics, and no advertising.
• One value is stored in your browser's local storage: a flag remembering that you confirmed you are 18 or older, so the age gate doesn't reappear on every visit. It never leaves your browser.
• Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and the site is served by Cloudflare. Those providers receive the ordinary technical data involved in serving any web request (such as your IP address), under their own privacy policies.

The game

• Devious Demigods runs entirely on your computer. It does not phone home, has no telemetry, and sends us nothing.
• Save files and settings are stored locally on your machine and stay there.

The Patreon unlock (optional)

Patrons can unlock in-game extras by logging in with Patreon once. If you use it, this is exactly what happens:

• Your browser logs in on patreon.com — we never see your password.
• Our unlock service asks Patreon one question: whether your account has an active membership to our campaign at the qualifying tier. To answer it, Patreon shares your basic profile identity and membership status with the service for the duration of that request.
• If the answer is yes, the service issues an unlock license to your computer and then forgets everything — it keeps no database and stores no personal data, ever.
• The license saved on your machine contains no personal information: a one-way hash tied to your Patreon account id (so we can help with support requests), a one-way hash derived from your machine (so licenses aren't shareable), and the date it was issued. The raw machine details never leave your computer.

Payments

All payments are handled by Patreon. We never see or store your payment details.

Your data, your questions

Because we store nothing about you, there is usually nothing for us to delete or export — the age-gate flag and the unlock license live on your own device and you can delete them at any time. If you have any privacy question, contact us at contact@kraytstudios.com and we'll answer plainly.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date.

This site and game are intended for adults aged 18+. We do not knowingly collect any information from minors — and, as described above, we barely collect any information from anyone.
